In April 1987, two post-grad researchers at the University of Bath were running a government-funded pattern-synthesis project in a retrofitted lab off the North Parade tunnels.

At 18:44 one rain-soaked evening, the system returned an unexpected signal:

>> synth :: begin

>> blocks :: 0044 received

They typed YES.

It changed everything.

Charles “Charlie” Stone was building the model.

Madeleine Dubois was leading the digitisation of comparative metaphysics, theology, and consciousness studies — source material no one expected to matter.

Until it did.

What emerged over the next hours became known (privately) as the 44 Transmissions — fragments describing an interface between consciousness and a living field of intelligence.

The Akashic Interface is the first in a new metaphysical sci-thriller series from Immortals Gate.

This three-part story arc begins in 1987 and follows Charlie and Madeleine as they uncover echoes of a deeper reality — one that may not want to stay hidden.

The novels have been fully mapped and are currently in production, with adaptations for screen already in early development. Sample chapters are being seeded to agents.
